<p><strong>Ngaos: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran</strong> is a journal published by Perkumpulan Dosen Tarbiyah Islam Indonesia. <strong>Ngaos: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran</strong> is published twice a year (February and Agustus) as a medium for academicians' scientific communication in the study of Islamic Education in Indonesia based on Interdisciplinary Research. Editors invite academicians to contribute their thoughts through research results, in-depth studies, or book reviews by the discipline. The script is original and has not been published in other media. <p>This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model at SMA Wahid Hasyim II Taman. The research focus includes the PBL implementation process, student learning outcomes, and factors that influence the success of PBL implementation. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and students, classroom learning observations, as well as documentation of learning outcomes and learning planning. The research results show that the implementation of PBL has been effective and has had a positive impact on the learning process and outcomes. Students show improvements in learning activities, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills. The successful implementation of PBL is supported by the selection of authentic problems, teacher readiness in designing learning, and active involvement of students. Even though there are obstacles such as limited time and student adaptation to new learning models, the strategies implemented by teachers have proven to be effective in overcoming these challenges. <p>This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing moral values in learning the Qur'an at the Nurul Ahmadi Children's Boarding School Catakgayam Mojowarno Jombang. Using a qualitative approach with a case study type, the research was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the pesantren implemented a structured learning system with three learning times a day using the classical-individual method. The internalization of moral values is carried out through three stages: providing information, practice, and habituation, which is supported by the habituation method, setting rules with clear consequences, and providing motivation. This program is proven to be effective in shaping the character of santri, reflected in positive changes in discipline, language use, and adab towards teachers. The success of this program is supported by the commitment of the teachers in providing examples and the consistency of the implementation of the learning system. The internalization model of moral values applied makes a significant contribution to the development of pesantren-based character education, especially in early childhood students, and can be a reference for other Islamic educational institutions in developing similar programs.</p>Ferry YantoNia MelianaSuraining RosodorRagil SaifullahNuning Etikoh

<p class="whitespace-pre-wrap" style="text-align: justify;">This study examines the professionalism of teachers in overcoming student learning difficulties in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at MTsN 4 Mojokerto. Using a qualitative approach with a case study research type, this study aims to analyze innovative strategies applied by teachers in facilitating effective SKI learning. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies, with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results show that SKI teachers apply high professionalism through careful lesson planning and implementation of comprehensive learning strategies. The main strategies include a student-oriented approach, inquiry/discovery learning, and integrating various learning resources. Teacher professionalism is reflected in the ability to analyze class situations, the use of varied learning methods, and the use of diverse learning media. The implementation of this strategy shows a positive impact on SKI learning, characterized by increased student interest in learning and the creation of a conducive learning atmosphere. This success is supported by teachers' commitment to continuous professional development and adequate institutional support from the school.</p>Moh. <p>This study analyzes the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers in cultivating students' self-confidence at MTsN 9 Jombang. Through the descriptive qualitative method, this research reveals the multidimensional strategies applied by teachers in developing students' self-confidence. Data collection was carried out through interviews with the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of student affairs, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and students, and supported by observation and documentation. The results showed that the Aqidah Akhlak teacher acts as a guide who provides information, motivation, and direction to students. The cultivation of self-confidence is done through various methods, including giving advice, habituation, rewards, and personal approaches. Madrasahs also facilitate the development of students' self-confidence through extracurricular activities and comprehensive evaluations involving daily tests, individual and group assignments, and question-and-answer methods. Collaboration between the madrasah head, the head of student affairs, the Aqidah Akhlak teacher, and the counseling teacher creates an educational ecosystem that supports the development of students' self-confidence. <p>This study uses the students of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya as a case study to assess the effect of the Surabaya Resilient Youth Scholarship Program on the level of community welfare. The Surabaya City Government created this program to help young people who are talented but do not have the money to go to high school. This study uses a survey-based quantitative method. One hundred student scholarship recipients were asked to participate as respondents. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and questionnaires to evaluate the relationship between the scholarship award and changes in the recipients' socio-economic welfare. The results showed that the program had a positive impact on access to education, meeting basic needs, and developing work skills. In addition, 87% of respondents said that their quality of life had improved since receiving the scholarship, mainly because they were able to reduce the economic burden on their families. In addition, recipients are motivated by the program to participate in community service activities, which has a double impact on community development. However, limited recipient quotas and administrative issues hinder the sustainability of the program.
