Abstract

In implementing the da'wah method in an Islamic educational institution such as
a boarding school, the role of a Kiai is very important in determining success. A
kiai or leader of a boarding school is required to have the ability and intelligence
in his role as a preacher so that the message of da'wah is conveyed to the da'wah
objects effectively and efficiently and on target.The above statement raises
questions for researchers. How is the concept of Dr. KH. Asep Saifuddin Chalim,
MA at the Aamanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School in Pacet - Mojokerto?
How is the application of Dr. KH. Asep Saifuddin Chalim, MA? And what
obstacles are faced in applying the da'wah method.The research that the
researchers conducted used qualitative method techniques, with a da'wah method
approach. The process of collecting data uses analytical descriptive techniques,
namely data collected in the form of words, pictures, documentation and not
numbers obtained from observations, in-depth interviews with sources and
documentation that will produce interpretations for researchers.
