This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. The findings show that democracy in the learning process is essential, considering the diverse backgrounds of students. Therefore, teachers need to understand the characteristics of each student in order to select the appropriate teaching methods. Islamic education promotes the application of democratic principles such as equality, freedom, and justice, which can enhance students' active participation in the learning process. The approaches applied in democratic learning include individual, group, experiential, habituation, and emotional approaches, which aim to develop social attitudes, creativity, and maximum student involvement. With the freedom to express opinions and engage in deliberation, students can grow as active and creative individuals, in line with the holistic goals of Islamic education. Research Implications:** The findings of this study have significant implications for the development of a more inclusive and democratic Islamic education curriculum, and they can serve as a reference for teachers to design teaching methods that are more adaptive to the characteristics of students. This research also contributes to a deeper understanding of the application of democratic values in the context of Islamic education, which has the potential to improve educational interactions in Islamic schools and encourage the formation of a more tolerant, just, and responsible generation.
Madkan Madkan, Lusia Mumtahana, Ardianto Ardianto Copyright (c) 2025 Madkan Madkan, Lusia Mumtahana, Ardianto Ardianto https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/adiluhung/article/view/107 Fri, 09 May 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Implementasi Program Unggulan dalam Pembentukan Akhlak Mulia di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah: Perspektif Al-Ghazali https://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/adiluhung/article/view/113
This study examines the implementation of Al-Ghazali's principles for cultivating noble moral qualities in students at MIN 2 Mojokerto. The research method employed is a qualitative approach. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and document studies. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis technique, which involves three stages: data reduction, data visualization, and conclusion. The results show that the superior religious-based programs at MIN 2 Mojokerto have successfully integrated the cultivation of noble moral values, such as Madrasahku Bersujud, Kamis Berdoa, Madrasah Cinta Qur'an, and Salam Satu Tujuan. These programs align with Al-Ghazali's views, which emphasize the importance of habituation (ta'wid), examples (uswah), and a conducive environment in moral character formation. The implementation of Al-Ghazali's theory within these superior programs has helped students internalize and actualize noble moral values such as honesty, patience, and respect for parents and teachers. The conclusion of this research indicates that integrating Al-Ghazali's theory into the religious-based superior programs at MIN 2 Mojokerto significantly contributes to the formation of students' characters with noble morals. This study provides valuable insights for educators and policymakers in developing character-building programs based on religious principles. By applying Al-Ghazali's theory, schools can foster a holistic learning environment that not only improves students' cognitive abilities but also strengthens their moral and spiritual development. Future research can explore the long-term impact of these programs on students' behavior both in school and in their wider communities.
Sekar Putri Pambayun, Muhammad Rizky Firmansyah, Mufilia Nurkhasanah, Tatik Indayati, Siti Masfiah Copyright (c) 2025 Sekar Putri Pambayun, Muhammad Rizky Firmansyah, Mufilia Nurkhasanah, Tatik Indayati, Siti Masfiah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/adiluhung/article/view/113 Sat, 10 May 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Comparison of Islamic and Western Education Systems: Opportunities for Integration of Islamic Values https://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/adiluhung/article/view/114
This research aims to compare Islamic and Western education systems and explore opportunities for integrating Islamic values into Western curricula. Using a library research method, the study analyzes existing literature, focusing on key educational philosophies, pedagogical methods, and curriculum structures. The findings highlight the strengths of both systems, with Islamic education emphasizing moral, social, and spiritual development, while Western education focuses on critical thinking, creativity, and the acquisition of practical skills. The study suggests that Islamic education can contribute to Western systems by emphasizing values such as social justice, ethical conduct, and spiritual development, ultimately leading to more holistic student growth. The research argues that integrating these Islamic values into Western education can provide students with a well-rounded educational experience that nurtures not only intellectual abilities but also personal character and ethical reasoning. Moreover, the integration of these values could foster interfaith understanding, encourage empathy, and improve social cohesion. The implications of this research are significant for educators and policymakers, suggesting that the development of inclusive, value-driven educational environments combining the best aspects of both educational systems could help prepare students for the challenges of an interconnected world. This study lays the foundation for future research to explore how these values can be practically applied in diverse educational settings, considering cultural contexts, challenges, and the potential impact on student outcomes.
Fuad Srinio, Muslihun Muslihun, Muhammad Umair Khan Usman Copyright (c) 2025 Fuad Srinio, Muslihun Muslihun, Muhammad Umair Khan Usman https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/adiluhung/article/view/114 Mon, 12 May 2025 00:00:00 +0000 The Teacher Mover's Contribution in Enhancing the Pancasila Student Profile: A Systematic Literature Review on Values Education https://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/adiluhung/article/view/115
This study analyzes how Teacher Movers can strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile using a systematic literature review approach. Established by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020, the Teacher Movers program aims to address various 21st-century educational challenges. The research applied the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method and content analysis, selecting articles from Google Scholar based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Out of 222 identified articles, only 10 were chosen for further analysis. The study reveals that Teacher Movers improve education quality by employing creative teaching strategies that emphasize student individuality. Additionally, they act as mentors and motivators for fellow educators in updating the national curriculum. They also integrate character-building into education, helping students strengthen Pancasila values. The program, implemented in many schools, has demonstrated improvements in teacher performance and contributed to the development of strong student character. Teacher Movers are crucial in enhancing educational quality and shaping students with strong personalities, preparing them for the challenges of the 21st century. The implications of this study show that the Teacher Movers program holds great potential for strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile and improving education quality. By incorporating character-based teaching approaches, the program supports teachers in enhancing their skills while helping shape a generation with strong character. This program can be a strategic step toward revitalizing the education system, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and reinforcing national values in students' daily lives.
Rafi Aryasutha, Nurul Azizah Ria Kusrini, Jasmin Nurul Ulya, Nur Syamsiah Septiani Copyright (c) 2025 Rafi Aryasutha, Nurul Azizah Ria Kusrini, Jasmin Nurul Ulya, Nur Syamsiah Septiani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/adiluhung/article/view/115 Mon, 12 May 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Membangun Karakter Islami Melalui Pendidikan Berbasis Iman: Perspektif Teologis https://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/adiluhung/article/view/116
Faith-based education plays an important role in shaping a strong Islamic character in the era of globalization.
