This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological method and relies on interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis was carried out through the process of collecting, reducing, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that there was one-way and two-way communication, with interactions such as ngaji, jagongan, and mayoran reflecting horizontal and two-way communication. Therefore, parents must set a good example to shape their children's religious character, enabling them to face various negative impacts in the digital era. One of the most commonly used forms of communication in this relationship is interpersonal communication, where interactions occur directly and allow immediate feedback from the other party. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation conducted by the researcher. The theoretical framework used in this study is the encoding-decoding theory by Stuart Hall. The results of the study show that the interpersonal communication conducted by parents with their children involves gradually providing understanding and giving concrete examples, making it easier for the child to comprehend. The message is then processed by the child, resulting in diverse responses, which ultimately contribute to the development of a religious character.
Rizky Syaifulloh Copyright (c) 2024 Communicator: Journal of Communication 2024-10-20 2024-10-20 1 2 12 21 10.59373/comm.v1i2.65 Store Advertising Strategy In Tuban In Increasing Product Appeal http://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/comm/article/view/70
Advertising strategy of Ceker Gobyozz Byozz Tuban Shop and its impact on business growth. Film, as a mass communication medium, has the potential to spread thoughts or beliefs, including reincarnation. One of the films that raises this theme is Along With Gods 2: The Last 49 Days, a production work from South Korea. Seeing the potential negative impact of the concept of reincarnation on Muslims, this study aims to analyse and criticise the concept based on the teachings of Islamic law—qualitative method with Charles Sander Peirce's semiological approach. The data obtained from the film were analysed using Peirce's semiotic theory through the analysis of the concept of trichotomy. The results of the study showed that there were 25 scenes related to reincarnation in the film, of which eight messages of faith and three moral messages were found that contained da'wah values. Criticism of the concept of reincarnation is based on its irrationality and contradiction with Islamic teachings. In Islam, resurrection is believed to occur on Yaumul Ba'ats, the day of resurrection to account for charity, and not in the form of rebirth in the world as depicted in the concept of reincarnation.
Nuzhat Fatima Fauziyah Copyright (c) 2024 Communicator: Journal of Communication 2024-10-25 2024-10-25 1 2 30 40 10.59373/comm.v1i2.68 Transformasi Iklan Radio Dalam Menselaraskan Promosi dan Layanan Masyarakat http://ejournal.pdtii.org/index.php/comm/article/view/74
Important elements are very much needed in completing the creation of advertisements in order to tidy up and make audio more useful and pleasant to listen to. This study aims to find out how to formulate an advertisement editing strategy, how to implement an advertisement editing strategy, and how to evaluate an advertisement editing strategy in developing public services at Radio RSAL FM. This study uses a qualitative methodology derived from an interpretative or subjective approach. This interpretive approach has two variants, namely critical and constructivism. This study departs from a critical approach as with framing analysis in general. With a qualitative methodology that emphasizes more on the issue of depth (quality) of data rather than on the amount (quantity) of data. Based on data in the field, researchers found the fact that Radio RSAL. FM Nganjuk, from the preparation, planning, implementation, and supervision of the delivery of advertisements, has been very effective. Media play a crucial role in shaping public perception through news framing, which can influence the political preferences of the community. This study employs a qualitative method with a framing analysis approach. Data were collected from nine news articles from each online media outlet published during the campaign period up to post-election. The analysis was conducted by identifying the framing elements according to Entman, namely problem definition, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, and treatment recommendation. The findings indicate that the three media outlets frame the coverage of the Sahata and On Ma candidate pairs differently. MohgaNews.co.id frames Sahata positively as an experienced pair close to the community, focusing on social stability. StartNews.co.id emphasizes the importance of election security and harmony, presenting the candidates neutrally. Meanwhile, MadinaPos.com prioritizes the aspects of legality and legal certainty in its reporting, with significant attention to the candidates’ administrative compliance. The differing frames across the three media reflect their respective agendas in influencing public perception. MohgaNews.co.id tends to support the incumbents, StartNews.co.id highlights security as a key issue, while MadinaPos.com emphasizes a fair and lawful electoral process. These findings demonstrate that media have a significant influence in shaping local political narratives, which can impact election outcomes and public participation.
Ahmad Salman Farid Copyright (c) 2024 Communicator: Journal of Communication 2025-02-14 2025-02-14 1 2 43 58
